Goldenwest 5k

We ran in the annual 5k for schools today and the kids did great! Koy finished in 39 minutes! The whole thing, no shortcuts! I was so proud of him, he even fell down, but got up and kept on truckin. He was way tired by the end but we had ran into Cambri from school so i think he kept going to show off a bit :) Jerzi and Kurt took a few short cuts and o man it was rough for her! She was "sooo super tired" (insert whine here) and her "legs hurt super bad" (insert another whine) but she did it, with a few shoulder rides from dad! Good job kids, i am so proud of both of you!

Cow's poop

Jerzi asked this morning if chocolate milk is cow's poop! She asked that we not tell anyone though, so this is private!

Seed on my face ??

Jerzi learned about potatoes in school yesterday, i actually went to the first hour of her class, she has been begging for a while for me to go. They talked about how potatoes have seeds on the outside of them, not the inside like some fruits. So then they got to make a potatoe face with a green hat. (You see, they were celebrating St. Pattys day, and so the potatoes needed green hats) Anyway, she made hers and put 'seeds' all over the face. Well later that night she points to my mole on my cheek and says "Mom, you know you have a seed on your face??" Hee Hee she's too cute :)

I'm not sure what is going on with Jerzi lately but she is FUNNY! A few things..

Last night she farted, i said Hey! Bunnies don't fart! She said.. Well this bunny does!

She saw a shooting star and says, i'm going to make a wish that everytime i ask to play with Aubree Boston and Hudson, mom will say yes!

Koy sleepwalks, she is a little jealous of this. She said today, Mom, how can i sleepwalk? I said i'm not sure, you can't really practice it, it just happens to some people.
She says, Well maybe i will wish that i can sleepwalk! She has been 'sleepwalking' all day :)

Koy is gone to a basketball game with Grandpa and Grandma so she made Kurt dress up like a girl to have a girl party with her Libbi and me. She said, you either have to dress up like a girl, or go to your room cause it's a girl party! So he has a bow on as we speak :)

Like i said, she's on a roll lately!

Young love

Koy has been getting 'love letters' from the girls at school each day. Well ok just one girl impaticular. They all draw him pictures but Cambri sends notes :) One said "I love Koy and Joseph...Cambri" The next day it just said "I love Koy..Cambri" I guess she either stopped loving Joseph, or wrote them each their own love letter. Anyway, i love it, i think it is so adorable and it makes Koy blush a little ;)

Crazy girl

We love our Jerzi girl!

Tonight we put the kids to bed and then sat down to watch tv. A few minutes later we hear..

"When i'm a mom i'm going to stay up and watch tv and make my kids go to bed!"

Then a few minutes later we hear..

"Hoooonk. hoooonk. honk. hooonk."

Mom: Jerzi what are you doing?
Jerzi: Just snoring.

Ha ha, she is a NUT! She has been doing this alot i guess, Kurt said she did it the other night too. She is so funny!

My hunky hubby's happy birthday!

Happy 30th to You!
Kurt has been working so hard at the gym, this is his 'after' picture we took the other day, he is looking mighty good if i do say so myself :)

This is my hunky hubby. He is the GREATEST hubby in the world. Seriously. Anyone that wants to argue i will!
Here's a little blog bragging about him :)
*He is such a hard worker whether its at home, work, or the gym. He truely amazes me.
*He is the best dad to our kids, they love him and look up to him as an example, even at this early stage. I hope that continues as they grow.
*He does the laundry. Yes, you heard me right! He started doing it when i was on bed rest with Libbi and has never stopped. I bet i haven't done 10 loads in the past year. It helps me sooo much and i'm grateful for such a small yet HUGE thing!
*He never says a bad word about anyone (well, almost) he is very optimistic and forgiving. He helps me to be that way too.
*He loves me for me. He doesn't try to make me something i'm not. If i've set a goal for myself, he supports me but doesn't harrass me. If i fail (which i do alot), he just smiles and says it's ok. He doesn't make me feel worse about my failures.
*He treats our girls like princesses, they have him wrapped around their fingers, like to the point where he scratches Jerzi's back EVERY night, sometimes in the middle of the night if she calls for it.
*He treats Koy like his best buddy. He is so loving and kind with him, always disciplining with love, not anger.
I really am the luckiest girl in the world (again, i will argue with you if you think you are)
Just teasing, but really, i am blessed to have him in my life. I don't know what i did to deserve him.
*He teases me all the time for being OLDER than him. I'm 3 weeks to the day older so i've been 30 for a while now. He's only got 7 and a half hours left to say he's in his twenties and i'm in my thirties.
