Koy the Bully

So my Kindergarten boy child just got home and tells me that the bus driver told him he was going to knock him out... hmmmm....... i call the bus driver and, his words exactly... "i can't remember exactly what i said but Koy is turning out to be quite a bully" well... ok then, go ahead and tell a 6 yr old you're going to knock him out. Seriously? O and the kid he is picking on is in 2nd grade... I doubt Koy is totally to blame in that one. Bus drivers words again "Nate is such a neat kid, and he's about 2 inches smaller than Koy" O how i love perception. 2 inches smaller but 2years smarter. I'm just sayin... Koy has had some good hard lessons in lying in his past and he swears Nate kicks him, so he hits him back. I think Nate is rather smart. Kicking is done behind the seats where bus driver can't see, Koy likes to slap. Maybe i should teach him to be more sneaky in his defense tactics :)

'Someones' jacket

We were at the park tonight and it was time to go so Grandma Jolene says
"Hey is that someone's jacket over there?"
Jerzi and Abby at the same time say "Ya"
So Grandma says "Well whose is it"
Jerzi and Abby at the same time again say "I don't know"
Ha Ha Ha! Well they were right, it was 'someones' jacket, they just didn't know whose!! I love 4 year olds, they make me smile!

Xfit mania!!

I never did a post about the cross fit sectionals! Chase did so good, he ended up in 23rd place, they only take 20 to regionals. WELL... some new and exciting turn of events have occured and he is going to regionals in May! I guess if someone couldn't go they bumped everyone up a spot, making his 23rd rank pretty close so only 3 people had to bail for him to be able to go. It is in Washington on May 15. I want to go sooooooo bad but it's too much money plus i will be enjoying my half marathon run through the Ogden canyon :) I must tell you, i would TEN times rather run a half marathon than do what he's going to be doing! Here are some pictures from the sectionals held in Feb.

Ha ha he will kill me for posting this one but this is when he finished "Franish". Yes, he is laying in the fetal position! I don't blame him, i wanted to curl up and die just watching!

This was a really fun event, the kids even enjoyed it! We are loving every minutes of cross fit, it's been almost a year (we started in June) and we are totally hooked! We go 5-6 days a week, sometimes i actually have to talk myself OUT of going because my body needs a rest. I can't explain it, noone can, but if you ever want to try a life-changing workout, try cross fit! It's not just changing our bodies, it's changing our whole outlook on life. Some of these workouts are SOO tough and you want to quit but you don't. Finishing is very symbolic of enduring life and trials. I know it sounds lame, and i won't keep on rambling but it's true :) I'm so happy we both do it, Kurt is looking mighty hot if i do say so myself! This summer the OAC will be doing a cross fit kids camp, i will be helping teach it (maybe?? haven't totally committed) my kids are so excited! They love it as much as we do! Anyway, sorry to bore you but i need this for future journal purposes so we can remember how it makes us feel to be fit and healthy :)

My name is M-O-M!!!

My little stinker of a 6 year old has decided to call me 'Mindi' and i ain't liking it. I want to be called MOMMY!! I work hard for that title and i deserve it!!! Grr. Kurt had a talk with him tonight, we'll see how tomorrow goes :)

Mission calls ??

This is weird but i have to journal it.. i had a dream the other night that we, not sure who exactly, but someone in our family got mission calls. There were 3 of them. I do have 3 kids?? Anyway they were to Indiana, New York and Los Angeles. It would be crazy if one of my kids really went to one of those places one day! I don't want to think about that yet though, i'm glad i only have 1 boy :)

Ramona

I have a few things i have to document about Jerzi.

Yesterday was the big Easter egg hunt at the town park and it was FREEZING so i got her a pile of clothes to put on, like layers and layers of clothes and she says "Ahh i'm gonna be comfy as a rat!" Ha ha! No idea where she has seen comfy rats!?!

Last night we were trying to get the kids to clean up the house and told them if they did we'd go get them Mcdonalds for dinner and she says "Nah, i'm trying to quit" We are uncertain if she's trying to quit eating or cleaning! I'm pretty sure she meant quitting Mcdonalds! She gets that from me saying i'm trying to quit drinking diet coke all the time.

Then tonight when i went to tuck her in i noticed a big lump under her covers so i pull them back and there's a shoe box in her bed?? I opened it up to find her drink of water. I say what are you doing Jerz to which she replied..."It's so i don't have to get up when i'm thirsty in the night!"

I wanted to get a picture of her riding bikes today but i didn't take my camera on our walk. She was on Libbi's little bike, Koy's red robe on over her jammies, her hair flying every which way, and chocolate all over her face! Just having the time of her life! I love it!

O man she is a crack up! I saw a preview to Ramona and Beezus, and seriously about died laughing, that is sooooooooooo my daughter! I can't wait to see it!!
