Drew mans eyes..

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!! I have SOO much to post about, most of it is FUN PICTURES!! But i will do that in a bit.. I need to get all this info down for future reference. Drew man is crossed eyed :( He has been doing it for the last few weeks so i finally took him into Dr Judkins on Friday. He said he will outgrow this problem and to not worry. Dr Rose saw him Monday and he went cross eyed while he was looking at him and he freaked out! He said to get him into Primarys asap. Well lucky us got in on a cancellation the next day! Yesterday, Tues, March 20 (yes, for those paying attention, it was Libbis birthday..) We went to see Dr Dries from the Moran Eye Center. He said Drew needs glasses immediately. He said he has Strabismus. Aubree has Strabismus. He said there are 3 treatmenst, #1 is glasses. If that doesn't work, a patch, and if that doesn't work, eye surgery. He said we will probably avoid eye surgery because we caught it so soon! So thank you paranoid Grammy! I wouldn't have done anything if she didn't mention it :/ Back to Dr #1, he says there is no way he'd put him in glasses so young and that he WILL outgrow it! I like his idea better obviously so i'm holding onto hope that he's right! I am waiting for calls back from Dr Rose (cause i TRUST HIM!) and also from Dr Dries to bluntly ask him if this is something Drew could POSSILBY outgrow! I did my own google research on strabismus and found this on strabismus.org

Strabismus
What is it?
Strabismus, more commonly known as cross-eyed or wall-eyed, is a vision condition in which a person can not align both eyes simultaneously under normal conditions. One or both of the eyes may turn in, out, up or down. An eye turn may be constant (when the eye turns all of the time) or intermittent (turning only some of the time, such as, under stressful conditions or when ill). Whether constant or intermittent, strabismus always requires appropriate evaluation and treatment. Children do not outgrow strabismus!

I think i know what i have to do :( I'm super sad, but after all, its just glasses right? No pics for this post. I don't have nor want a picture of his crossed eyes. I will however post pics of his cute tiny glasses when we get them :)
