Uintah Hike

We took a little adventure Sunday. We found a trail up by the cemetary right here in lil old Uintah. It was SO amazing! The trail went on and on and on forever! We had such a fun time! Lib rode on dads shoulders while the rest of us hiked our butts off! (i needed to move because my bottom half of my body was SO SORE from the race the day before) We ended up by Walmart and had to call for a ride, but we had a GREAT TIME!!

If you look REALLY close, you can see our house in the scenery ;)

O there it is again! (our house..)

Ogden Half 2011

I've ran in this race since 2006, minus 2009 when i had Libbi. I just HAD to do it this year! With very little running, mostly crossfit training, old shoes and a 3 month old baby i DID WELL! I was super happy with my results AND the way i felt after. The night before we all put on an old shirt and my medals and talked about 'doing hard things' I hope the kids will always try things even if they may be hard. This race was going to be hard! I knew it was. But i really wanted to prove to myself and my kids that I COULD DO HARD THINGS!! I'm SOOO happy i did it! It was a very peaceful run, with lots of time to think and ponder. Hard things will come to us in life and if we are prepared for them, knowing we can handle them, we will endure MUCH more than we think!

Natalie and I have ran all of these races, some together, some not, but we're always there in the beginning and end to cheer each other on!

I packed my camera in my fanny pack!! YES I DID!! HA! I'm so glad i did! I was not going for a PR, just wanted to finish and HAVE FUN! Which i did!!

My number 1 fans!! (ok so in all the years of doing this, this was my 7th half, i have never found my family at the end, they have yet to actually SEE ME FINISH!!! we always miss each other!)

My Supporters. It really means alot to have people at the finish line. I can't explain how grateful i am that they take the time to come. Its really a HUGE deal and i appreciate you :)

My 3 month old baby! YES! 3 months post baby i ran a HALF MARATHON!! WE CAN ALL DO HARD THINGS!! (yes Heidi, i stole that from you!)

And my post workout recovery drink :)

HE will survive!

They say your 4th gets neglected. Well its true. NOT intentionally, but its HARD to share my attention with FOUR kids! and a hubby! So Drew gets drug to the park instead of naptime, but see, i bundle him just fine!

He gets bubble wrap hats :) This was SOO funny! (After a slight gasp and panic attack) Jerzi made him a bubble hat!! So nice of her!

What a trooper this dude is. He will survive!! And he'll have some funny pictures to look back on :)

Drew Blessing Lunch

The blessing posts are all out of whack, but i'm tired, so i don't care :) This was our wonderful centerpieces! I was SOOO crafty (which NEVER happens!) I made these cute taffy sticks in white tins, then with the help of friends i made the matching poms! The luncheon was SUPPOSE to be in our backyard (ugh) but Mother Nature is NOT cooperating this spring! So we did it at the old town hall. It worked out just fine :)

What a special lil man. We love him SOO much! He is the perfect addition to our family!

Drews Blessing

What a special day. I was very excited to have a 'traditional' blessing for Drew. I felt robbed with Libbi. We blessed her at home with just a few close family members. No big party, and we all know i LOVE a party!

Best Buddies :)

Our special Eternal Family :)

DRYER!!!!

Yup. You see it. Our dryer BLEW UP!! It's a good darn thing Kurt was home and in the kitchen, he said he heard a pop, walked in and the whole room was smoke. He immediately opened the dryer door and flames burst out! The only recognizeable thing in there were Jerzis favorite jammies. Everything else was ashes. (i have later learned that my FAV VS sweats were in there :()

Soo... what do you do when your dryer burns your favorite pair of jams?? GO BUY NEW ONES!!

We truly feel blessed that nothing more happened. It could've been really bad if we weren't home or even in the other room.
