We had a great time this weekend at the Dixon family reunion. We went up to Beaver Mountain.
We first all met together so we could follow each other, we stopped for ice and Kurt and James came walking out with a shopping cart and I swear they looked a little 'fruity!!'
On the way there we stopped in Logan for lunch where we met Kurt's brother and his family who moved to Idaho. :( The kids don't get to see those cousins very often so they were SUPER excited!
When we got to the mountain, we played alot and had tons of fun!
The boys played 'My dad is better than your dad' and Kurt won, (with a little help from himself..) The kids all lined up and had to throw cheerios on the dads faces, they had shaving cream all over their faces, it was a little disgusting!! The kids had to eat limes (Yuck) and the moms had to eat bubble gum and blow bubbles!
We played 'Deal or no deal' and 'Family Fued' The girls, (me, Jolene, Jodi, Montay and Ann) beat the boys!! (Kurt, his dad and brothers). It was a little rough on their egos but one day they'll get over it!!
There was a pink scooter that one cousin brought and the boys took over and were making jumps at the bottom of a hill, they all crashed and burned a few times!!
I found Jerzi out in the parking lot all alone, just playing in the dirt, laughing herself silly! It was hilarious!!
We went 4 wheeling a little and the kids LOVED that!
We did the girls hair in matching ponies, they thought that was great fun.
Kurt was in charge of the fire (by his own free will) and he built a house, seriously! It was funny to watch it burn!
We also played 'The Newleywed game' and I'm afraid Kurt and I may need counseling! We lost by a long shot scoring 35 out of 100! Ouch!!
It was alot of fun to get to hang out with family and the kids had a BLAST hanging out with cousins all weekend!!
As soon as we got home, we went to the Weber State fireworks with my family, so by the end of Sunday the kids (and me) were pooped! What a fun weekend though!! That's what it's all about!!

Mindi- that sounds like a blast! Usually family reunions are pretty lame, I want to come to yours! :) Well thanks for reassuring me about my bonneville post. It was late, I was tired, and I have some issues(we won't get into). Ha Ha! I feel better today :) That newly-wed game is tricky! I always struggle with that one! I'm glad you had a great weekend! You're awesome!
That sounds like it was so much fun! Your kids looked tuckered out... those are my favorite kind of pictures to take of my kids! Ha Ha!
It was tons of fun and you pictures are so cute can't wait to see you all at the rodeo!!
Looks like you guys had so much fun. I think it is so cute that you played all those fun games, your fam is so creative.
Tell Kurt to call Mark when he is ready to start construction on the storage sheds. :)
