Favorite time of day

I have been pondering alot lately and i'm not sure what's playing into my emotions, probably alot of different things, but i'm so thankful and happy with my life right now. I was laying in bed last night after going to bunco with the girls (a very fun time i might add) and i was thinking how sad i was that i wasn't here to get the kids to bed. As much as i love girls time, date nights with Kurt, my own peace and quiet time etc.. My absolute favorite time of day is nighttime getting the kids ready for bed. They are on such a good routine as of now, they shower, get in jammies, have a snack and go to bed. We take turns tucking them in and it's such a sweet time to sit and chat for a bit with each of them.

I also love mornings, getting them ready for the bus, driving them to the bus and saying have a good day, love you. Koy comes in every morning about 6-630 and we have the exact same conversation. It goes like this...

Koy: Mommy
ME: What bud?
Koy: Where's dad?
ME: Either in the office or at the gym
Koy: K. Can i watch a show?
ME: Sure bud, just turn the volume down
Koy: K love you

and he walks out of my room into the living room for his morning sports center! He is so cute and funny. Its like he has to check in when he wakes up. I love him.

I also love the time of day when the kids are off to school and its just me and Libbi. She is getting so big and fun! She plays hide and seek, pouts, snuggles, get in trouble and gives big loves! I love our one-on-one time.

Homework time is another fun time. I love to see how the kids progress. Jerzi was reading to me last night and she is too cute. She reads like this..

She sounds it out, pointing with her finger, then says the word.
SO cute!!

I really feel so blessed to have such great kids and such a great husband that supports us, allowing me to stay home and raise our family. I am living the dream :)
