This question was asked in Sunday school today. Here is my answer.
Happiness is..
tucking my kids into bed each night
getting their backpacks packed and sending them off to school
waiting for them to arrive back home at 345
doing homework...
watching them succeed when trying new things
picking them up when they fall and/or fail
snuggling when they're sick
being home and able to get them from school when they need me...
cleaning up the messes their inventive minds make
a clean fresh smelling house
clean fresh smelling laundry
a house full of laughter, fun and messes...
climbing into bed each night
saying 'good night' and 'i love you' each night
waking in the morning with the feeling that my life is real, not just a dream
feeling secure and loved no matter what mistakes i make...
being a stay at home mom
I've taken this for granted for almost 8 years.
I am so lucky to have the job i have
I wouldn't trade it for any amount of money or fame
Thank you to those who create my HAPPINESS!!!!
I love my family more than ANYTHING on this earth. I hope they know this :)
