For the week of Koys baptism, we invited 'special visitors' to stop by each night and talk with him about baptism, missions, testimony, whatever they chose. We started the week off on Sunday and Grandma and Grandpa Dixons, the whole crew talked with him. Luke shared with Koy some memories of his baptism day. It was cute.
Monday night Kurt talked with Koy in a one-on-one father/son visit.
Tuesday night Scott, Brett and Ry came by. Koy was silly (of course) but i know he listened and will remember them and what they talked about.
Wednesday night Chase and Boston stopped over. Boston shared with Koy some memories of his recent baptism.
Thursday night Scott, Brock and Josh came over. One thing that stuck out in my mind with these guys is Scott telling Koy how good is he at sports, and kids will look up to him and watch him because of this. So true. I hope Koy realizes this and sets a good example.
Friday we invited Coach Max, Malosi and little Max to come visit. They wore ties and ALL! Impressive ;) Max and Malosi wore their traditional church attire,
This was such a FUN thing for Koy. We decided to put some extra focus on his Baptism week, and try to take focus off of sports for that week. After all, which is more important?? I'm glad we did this, he really liked it and it was fun to involve so many friends and family! Thanks to everyone who took the time and came by!!
