Missing IUD!

None of you will want to read this, but i want it down for my own future sake. I FINALLY decided to get an IUD. I had one between Jerz and Lib and HATED it! I had it removed after a month. I decided to try it again and had it put it about 6 weeks ago. The hormone in it is what i hate!! The rest has been ok. I had to go yesterday for a check up, they do this to ensure it was placed properly. Well its MISSING! Yup. Its gone. He thinks if it would've fallen out i would've known it. I guess i would have had cramping, which i didn't. So... He did an ultra sound, can't find it. I go tonight for another ultra sound with the tech and if she doesn't see it they'll do an xray of my abdomen. It could have burst through my uterus into my abdomen ( i doubt that..) Then if its not in there they will assume it fell out! My first biggest fear was it is floating around somewhere and i'll have to have it surgically removed.. my mother then scared me worse my saying 'so... could you be pregnant?' AHHHHHH! Thats right, i just yelled out a loud SCREAM! I guess anything is possible. Here's hoping it just fell out recently, no baby, no surgery. Let hope...

Will i have another one put in? Um.. no.
Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion of 'The missing IUD!!'

UPDATE Nov 18.
Ok so Dr Hartman's words... "Well you may want to look behind your refridgarator because it is not inside of you" The ultra sound the other night was .interesting. to say the least. #1, there was no sign of a baby, sack or anything of the sort. so PHEW. #2, she thought she found it, but in a really weird place so after an hour and a half of 'maybes' they decided to send me to get an xray. Well because it was 6:30 pm and everywhere was closed i had to wait until the next morning for the xray. When i got it, the tech obviously couldn't tell me anything so i asked if i could just look at the xray picture. I could tell there was nothing in there. I am a pro at reading xrays by now :) So then i just waited for the confirmation from Dr Hartman and sure enough i was right. It must've fallen out. Nice.
Am i having it replaced you ask? H NO!! ;) I will stick with my trusty pill, where i have control.
