Deer hunting is upon us! For all you deer hunters wives, I feel your pain! Luckily I do not know the extent of it, Kurt went with Chris and they only went for 3 days and then took Koy and Parker on the 4th so it was pretty painless this year! I'm sure next year when he is done with school it'll be MUCH longer!! He shot it with a muzzle loader (? on spelling) and shot it right off the road, so Koy and Parker were in the truck watching the whole thing! Koy was so lucky to be with him and I'm sure they'll both remember that night for a long time! They had a great time!!
Koy was a little bit scared, grossed out, and cautious at first, notice he isn't even close! But when they got home I think he realized the deer was for sure dead and he held it up all alone!
We talked Jerzi into getting a picture with the deer but she would only do it if daddy was there with her! She just kept saying it was 'yucky and big!' I couldn't agree more!!

Side note: If any of you enjoy deer sausage, please let me know because I have WAY more than I can handle, which is NONE! I'm willing to give it up. :)

Cute pictures. How fun for Koy to get to go with his dad. I'm actually kind of glad Dean hasn't taken to that yet but I think it's really fun for the little boys to get to go.
I'm sure Koy thought that was so cool to go hunting with his dad! Even better than that is that he was there when he shot a buck... that's awesome!!
Wow, that is quite the prize to bring home. How exciting for a hunt with his dad. I would say I would not be thrilled if they brought that home to me, but that's what boys do right. And yikes on the last picture! Okay, so Jerzi totally looks like you. I like think she is exactly you as a little girl. I think you should post pictures of you as a girl her age. What a cute family!
Oh, gosh! I with ya on the hunting wives thing. I have one big hunting go-ro! Let me tell ya, the one he gets is never big enough! That picture with Koy and Kurt was awesome! No better way to spend time together!
