Jerzi really wants to be a hairdresser when she grows up so she has practiced a few times, without my consent of course.. Well this time was HORRIBLE! She seriously CHOPPED it off! I lock my salon so it's pretty safe but this time she snuck in while I was doing my mom and got the scissors. She came down and it was GONE! She cut the whole front and sides off!! Well I would've left it but she had a serious MULLET! Jodi and my mom talked me into cutting it so it looked more even. I couldn't do it because I was a bit emotional so Jodi did it. She looks cute if she keeps a bow on her bangs! I am mortified and want to cry every time I look at her! Kurt keeps calling her 'jeffry' which he thinks is funny but it's NOT! She is becoming a bit self conscious about it so if you see her tell her how cute she is! She keeps saying 'i look like a boy.' She is cute no matter what but it's still hard! Here are pictures of the before and after, you decide which is which!! Notice how sad she is after we cut it even. Poor little face..

Mindi- the second I saw this I posted a picture on my blog. Kaylee did the same thing and it was a serious mullet! You will have to look at the picture! I completely understand!

You've heard of Oakley's little hairdresser moment also. It wasn't as bad so I can't complain, but I totally know how you feel. It will make for a fun story later and at least now she is old enough to realize how nice it is to not cut your own hair... Maybe?

I'm gonna have to say though, she really can pull off the pixie cut. Not everybody can do it. She's cute no matter what.
HOLY CRAP! Are you serious?! That is every mom's worst nightmare. Oh, well, at least now you can experiment with some cute short hairdo's while it is growing back. She is so darling! I love how she is smiling like she has just done the best self cut hairdo ever. It's nice that hair grows fast!
Every little kid has to do it a couple of times. Right. I'm always catching Braxton trimming up but at least he's a boy so I can just buzz it. One time I tried to buzz Braxtons hair, It was so bad I didn't even dare take him to dollar cuts. It totally looked like he had done it himself.
Mindi, she really looks so darling! The Posh Pixie cut is totally in and she is rocking it. I really think she looks so cute! I know it sucks, but at least she is a doll. You are a trooper!
I really feel your pain. Marley just cut her hair about a week ago. When I sent her to her room she cried and said "I know, only Mindi can cut it now." She has worn a lot of hats since then. Every little kid must have a weird hair cut a least once. Some day you will look at these photos and laugh, until then you can cry on my shoulder. By the way, Jerzi is beautiful so she can pull it off.

I have to admit that was a good one. But it all turned out okay. She is still darling. I love the curls in the back. She really looks so cute with the "little bob" effect. I will grow back before you know it. Good times.

Hey Mindi!! I am so glad that you found our blog. I have heard from so many people from high school in the last month then in the last 10 years. I cannot believe that KURT is a DAD!! It's more normal that you are a mom, for some reason, but I love it. :D y\Your kids are adorable and could not look more like the both of you. I chatted with a couple of the girls like Sherice and Erica and I really want to get together and have lunch or something in Dec. We are spending about 2 weeks there for the holidays and would love to see you. I loved seeing your pictures and reading your blog. Seems like you have such a great life!! By the way, these pictures could not ring more true to me. My mom is still surprised that I did not end up being a hair dresser. I guess I got it all out when I was little. I actually think She looks cute with short hair. You'll have to tell her!! :D I'll keep in touch. (Sorry for the novel)
